Police Nab Burglar Inside Mobile Business

MOBILE Ala. Police responding to an activated burglar alarm at a closed business were able to capture the suspect before he had a chance to flee.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, at approximately 2:14 a.m., officers were initially dispatched to a business located at 790 Schillinger Road S. (Crafty Crab).
Upon arrival, officers found a male subject inside of the business. And upon further investigation, officers discovered the subject unlawfully entered the business through a door and remained inside while the alarm was sounding.
The suspect has been identified as William Taylor, 21, who was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Taylor has been charged with:
BURGLARY 3RD DEGREE
USE/POSSESSION DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
