Fatal Wreck Involving Electric Bike Reported in Mobile

MOBILE Ala. On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 8:54 p.m., officers responded to the area of Airport Boulevard and Park Avenue S. in reference to a traffic accident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased.
Mobile Fire-Rescue also responded to the scene.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was riding a motorized bicycle across Airport Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Park Avenue S.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
The victim’s name will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
This remains an active investigation.
