Police Drug Investigation Leads to Pursuit

MOBILE, Ala. Police investigators were conducting a narcotics investigation Tuesday afternoon in the area of Baltimore Street near Taylor Park.
Mobile police attempted to pull over a maroon sedan, but the driver refused to yield to police and led officers on a pursuit ending on Kelly Street but not before the driver collided with several vehicles including a police vehicle according to Public Affairs Manager for the City of Mobile’s Department of Public Safety Blake Brown.
A female passenger in the car reported back pain and was taken to ana rea hospital but has since been released. She was questioned but not charged.
The driver has been booked, though investigators have not yet released his identity.
