Police Charge Mobile Man With Torture and Abuse of Child

MOBILE Ala. A report of child abuse was filed with the Mobile Police Department and an investigation was initiated by the Abuse Unit.
On Monday, May 19, 2025, officers with the Mobile Police Department arrested 26-year-old Nykolas James Cooper for Torture/Willful Abuse of a Child.
Cooper was taken into custody without incident and transported to Metro County Jail.
This case remains under investigation.”
