Fairhope High School Student Arrested on 17 Counts Relating to Drug Sales

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A Fairhope High School student was arrested on 17 charges following an anonymous tip to police that he was selling drugs.
Fairhope police brought K9 Lucca to the school parking lot and police said that the dog detected narcotics on the student’s vehicle in the school parking lot.
When the student returned to the vehicle, officers located MDMA, assorted pills, marijuana and two ski masks in his backpack.
A search warrant was then served at his residence in Loxley.
There, officers located three handguns, 132 assorted pills, marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and $1,200 in cash.
Carter Vezina, age 18, has been charged with six counts of Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of a Forged Instrument, nine counts of Illegal Possession of Prescription Pills, Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.
Fairhope police say that additional charges are pending.
