Police Catch Up With Driver in Stolen Vehicle Who Fled From Officers Twice

MOBILE Ala. Police were called out to an area off Tanner Williams Road on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, after someone spotted a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed as it entered a wooded area.
The call, which was received at around 3:00 p.m. directed officers to the 8000 block and when officers arrived, they discovered that the vehicle in question had been reported as having been stolen.
Police were able to detain and arrest the person driving the vehicle and he was later identified as Christian Dyson, 30.
Police also determined that Dyson had run from the police earlier in the day during two separate traffic stops.
Dyson was booked into the Mobile Metro Jail facing charges of:
RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY 1ST DEGREE
2 COUNTS of ATTEMPT TO ELUDE
