Police Arrest Teens in Daphne Apartment Shooting

DAPHNE, Ala. Arrests have now been made in the shooting of two men at a Daphne apartment.
According to police, a 16-year-old has been charged with robbery, while an 18-year-old was charged with robbery and attempted murder, according to officials.
The shooting at the 10X Audubon Park Apartments located at 8160 County Road 64 occurred during the evening of April 29th, 2025, where 18-year-old Matthew Barnes and 20-year-old Demond Walker were sitting inside a vehicle where they met with two other persons.
Although police are not releasing the details of exactly what transpired, witnesses say they heard loud voices just before the gunshots.
Several reporters who were quickly on scene saw a bag on the ground next to an evidence marker.

One of the men was shot in the neck and the other was shot in the head. Both were taken to USA Hospital and put into the intensive care unit.
Both are currently listed as in stable condition.
