Several other packages originating from Mississippi were also found, and law enforcement there has been notified to investigate those thefts.
Mr. Bond was brought into the sheriff’s office for questioning and subsequently arrested and booked into Metro Jail for Theft of Property 1st.
Sheriff Paul Burch stated, “Thank you to our Team Sheriff Facebook followers who assisted in helping us solve this crime. At this time of year, we encourage people when having packages delivered please make sure someone is at your home, or make sure you arrange with your delivery service some type of alert to let you know when your packages are arriving.
In this case, the victim had great camera surveillance, and we were able to identify him with the help of the community.”
