Person Seriously Injured in I-10 Wreck

SPANISH FORT Ala.

A crash on the I-10 Bayway near Exit 30 Thursday seriously injured one driver.

Spanish Fort Fire/Medstar and state troopers responded to the accident that occurred at around 2:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The driver of a 2009 Toyota Venza was seriously injured when the vehicle hit a 2019 Isuzu box truck, according to officials.

Several witnesses stopped to help the injured driver while waiting for an ambulance.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

One lane was temporarily blocked during this time.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate.
