Pedestrian Struck and Injured in Mobile-Driver Fled

MOBILE, AL. A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle and injured on Government Street in Mobile on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

At approximately 6:10 p.m., officers responded to Government Street near Hamilton Street in reference to a male victim struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found the injured person and the Mobile Fire-Rescue dispatched personnel to the scene.

The driver of the vehicle fled and is wanted by the Mobile police.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was not critically injured and was transported to ana rea hospital.

This remains an active investigation.
