Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Mobile County

A Semmes man lost his life Saturday evening after being struck by a motor vehicle.
ALEA reported that the pedestrian, who has been identified as Joseph L. Williams II, 43, was struck and killed by a 2014 Ford F-150 driven by Karla Jaco-Casiano, 35, of Semmes while walking in the roadway.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 11:02 p.m. Saturday, March 1, on Howells Ferry Road near Graham Road, approximately one mile north of Mobile, in Mobile County.
Williams was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
