BALDWIN COUNTY Ala. Nearly a dozen wrecks kept police, troopers, and sheriff deputies busy during a wet, gray Friday and that doesn’t take into consideration all of the other calls for service that officers responded to during their shift.
From a vehicle accident where a deer was struck to a car slamming into a light pole and others who slammed into each other, police, fire departments, and ambulances kept rolling from one crash to another.
Several wrecks were serious and there were several people injured including at a wreck that occurred at Baldwin Beach Express and Foley Beach Express in Summerdale involving three vehicles.
Another wreck involving three vehicles at about the same time in Spanish Fort on US 31 also injured two people.
Police and fire department personnel in Daphne also responded shortly after 6 p.m. to a wreck with entrapment and injuries at Montclair Loop and Ridgewood Drive.
No serious injuries were reported in any of the wrecks on Friday according to authorities.
