Mobile Police Make Arrest in Latest Homicide

MOBILE Ala. On Sunday, May 11, 2025, at approximately 8:05 a.m., officers with the Mobile Police Department responded to the 3900 block of Driftwood Drive E., for a possible shooting with a male subject barricaded inside of the residence.
Officers arrived on the scene and after assessing the situation also notified SWAT to respond to the home.
Upon police making entry into the residence, a male victim was found deceased.
Police have taken a person into custody and he has been identified as 25-year-old Jordan Fantroy-Adams who was booked into Metro Jail at 4:20 p.m. He faces multiple charges including:
Murder
Attempted murder
Burglary, 1st degree
Kidnapping, 2nd degree
Discharging a firearm inside of an occupied/unoccupied building/vehicle
Robbery
