MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. A man who has been wanted in the death of a Mobile County woman since 2017, is now in the custody of Florida law enforcement.
64-year-old Ralph Pollack was taken into custody and booked into jail in Key West after Monroe County, Florida located him.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said that he’s charged with obstruction and abuse of a corpse in Alabama.
“He is in custody in Key West, FL, and will soon be returned to face his charges,” wrote the sheriff. The sheriff’s office has been investigating the death of Joyce Chassidy Bosarge since 2017. In a Facebook post from 2018, the sheriff’s office wrote, “Ralph showed up on time to his job for 20 years, and then he just left town when we wanted to speak with him about the death of Joyce Chassidy Bosarge.”
Burch hasn’t said if Pollack is suspected in the death itself or if there are any leads as to who else might have been involved but the sheriff investigators are hoping to interview him when he’s returned to Mobile County.
