Multiple Fire Departments Respond to House Fire

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. A person noticed black smoke coming from a house on Hoiles Street in Robertsdale on Monday and called 911.
The Robertsdale police and fire departments were initially dispatched to 18163 Hoiles Street at about 2:45 p.m., and as firefighters arrived to the area, they observed a working house fire.
Additional mutual-aid fire departments were dispatched to the fire, including the Silverhill, Loxley, and Summerdale fire departments.
EMS was also dispatched to the scene for standby.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control and fully extinguish it in about two hours.
There were no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
