Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries From Satsuma Wreck

SATSUMA, AL. A single vehicle crash has left one person dead according to ALEA.
According to troopers the wreck occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2026, and it has claimed the life of a McIntosh man.
Demarlo B. Reed, 52, was critically injured when he lost control and was thrown from the 2015 Victory Magnum motorcycle he was operating.
Reed was transported to University (USA) Hospital for medical treatment. On Friday, June 26, Reed succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 19-mile marker, within the city limits of Satsuma, in Mobile County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
