Motorcyclist Dies in Interstate 65 Wreck

MOBILE, AL. A serious wreck involving a motorcyclist on Interstate 65 in Mobile has left one man dead.
Mobile Police and Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to the two-vehicle crash between Airport Boulevard and Dauphin Street Exits after 8 Sunday morning.
Police shut down the Interstate in that area and diverted traffic while investigating the traffic fatality.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a vehicle was entering I-65 NB from Airport Boulevard when the driver lost control. The motorcyclist, identified as Paul Wike, 71, reacted and braked hard, but also lost control of his motorcycle.
Police said that they have not completed their investigation yet.
