Monroe County Traffic Collision Involves Fatality

MONROE COUNTY, Ala. A traffic collision on Sunday, July 19th, 2026, has claimed the life of a Monroeville man.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the wreck at approximately 7:30 a.m., located on Alabama 265 near the 1-mile marker, approximately one mile north of Beatrice.
Christopher O. Hill, 35, was fatally injured when the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria he was driving collided head-on with the 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Joshua Williams, 60, of Camden.
Hill was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Williams was injured and transported to a nearby medical center for treatment.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
