ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. A teenager reported missing from Mobile has been found by law enforcement after she was involved in Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the grandparents of a 13-year-old girl woke up on Wednesday morning to find the teen and their car missing. They called the Mobile police, filed a report, and waited for any news about where the girl was.
Unfortunately, the Florida Highway Patrol located her after she crashed the vehicle into a ditch on Pine Forest Road in Escambia County at around 9 a.m.
She received minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for treatment. She was later released into the care of her grandparents.
But the Florida Highway Patrol said that the juvenile will face criminal charges for the incident.
