Mobile Police Track Down-Arrest Shooting Suspect

MOBILE Ala. On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 5:13 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Holcombe Avenue in reference to a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an area where a shooting had occurred and were also notified that a male victim had just arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was discovered that the victim and subject began arguing when the subject fired shots at the victim.
Two unoccupied vehicles were also struck by gunfire.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a male subject wrecked his vehicle on Halls Mill Road trying to leave the area.
Police were able to apprehend Demetrius Parrish, 35, who was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Parrish has been charged with Felony Aggravated Assault and 2 Counts of Shooting Into a Vehicle/Building.
