Mobile Police Investigating Armed Robbery, Arson

On Saturday, January 25th, 2025, Mobile police were called to an armed robbery of a business that had just occurred.
Police arrived at 1363 Government Street (Texaco) at around 10: 00 p.m., and officers were informed that a man armed with a handgun had entered the business and demanded merchandise and cash.
The robber also stole the store employee’s vehicle which was later found to have been set on fire in the 2200 block of Persimmon Street.
There were no reports of any injuries during the robbery.
The Mobile Police are currently investigating this case as an armed robbery and an arson.
