Mobile Police Charge Man With Sunday’s Shooting
MOBILE Ala.

At approximately 1:57 a.m. Sunday morning, police were dispatched to a report of gunshots being fired in the 200 block of Dauphin Street.
When officers arrived, they did not find anyone shot but they were able to locate some shell casings near a business which indicated that someone had been shooting in the area just before their arrival.
According to Mobile police, at around the same time, a male victim with life-threatening injuries arrived at an area hospital by personal vehicle.
Officers were sent there to question the victim.
Meanwhile, officers who were still on the scene of the shots fired incident were able to identify the shooter and arrested Oscar Phillips, 29, who was still in the area.
Phillips has been charged with:
ASSAULT 1ST DEGREE
ATTEMPT TO ELUDE
PISTOL-CERTAIN PERSONS FORBIDDEN
CC22-3857 PROBATION VIOLATION – FELONY
