Mobile Police Charge Man with 1st Degree Robbery

MOBILE Ala

Police were called about a robbery at a Texaco gas station located at 300 Shell Road.

When officers arrived, they were met by a store employee who told officers that the man had entered the premises, and committed a theft by force, and then fled the area.

While patrolling the area for the person who fled, officers spotted a man who matched the description of the wanted person.

Police were able to positively identify Sharref Iddeen, 49, as the person who committed the crime and he was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.

Iddeen is being held without a bond and charged with Robbery 1st Degree.
