Mobile Man Sentenced to Life in Prison For Murder

MOBILE, Ala. A mobile man found guilty previously of murdering two people has been sentenced to life in prison.
Ardis Perez fatally shot two people in 2021, according to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
Perez subsequently was sentenced to life in prison for both murder convictions he received. Perez was found guilty in February of the 2021 murders of Dwan Williams and Andre Carter.
According to the DA’s office, on Nov. 21, 2021, Perez shot into a vehicle that Williams and Carter were in while they were driving down I-10, killing both of them.
Keith Richmond was Perez’s co-defendant and was also charged with their murders. Richmond pleaded guilty to the crimes back in February and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
