Mobile Firefighters Battle Two House Fires Tuesday

MOBILE, AL. The Mobile Fire-Recue firefighters had their hands full with two house fires on Tuesday.

According to Mobile Fire, both fires were well underway when they were dispatched, and both received substantial damage.

A two-story home in the 3600 block of Heather Court was already heavily involved in flames when firefighters arrived.

A short time later, at around 1 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to another house fire, this one was located on Hillview Drive.
A spokesperson for Mobile Fire stated that once again, as firefighters were arriving on the scene, they could see heavy fire showing from the structure.
The spokesperson said that the house was unoccupied when they arrived.

At least one of the fires appears to have been accidental, but both are being investigated at this time.

There were no reported injuries at either fire.
