Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala.

On January 22, 2026, at approximately 7:03 am, Prichard Police Dept received a call from an area resident that lives at 1002 Marengo Dr who stated that he observed a Gray Nissan Altima next door parked in a vacant lot with gunshots to the driver side window.  

Prichard Police responded and found Michael Deangelo Hall (DOB 11/11/92) sitting in the driver’s seat deceased due to several gunshot wounds.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Prichard and responded along with MCSO Crime Scene Unit.

MCSO Detectives canvassed the area for any witnesses or surveillance video. 

Detectives found surveillance video with the victim at Pluto Mart located at 116 Dunlap Circle.  The video showed the victim pulling into the store parking lot just after midnight and pick up a black male subject.  The subject entered the vehicle on the passenger side wearing a black hoodie, white undershirt, black pants and black and red converse shoes. 

The victim and subject left the Pluto Mart approximately 20 minutes later.
