911 dispatchers received close to a dozen phone calls reporting smoke and flames coming from a house on Kennedy Road at around 2:40 p.m. on January 26, 2026.
Even the tower at the Gulf Shores International Airport spotted the fire and notified 911.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire coming from a structure at 16064 Kennedy Road.
Additional fire departments had to be called in because of the lack of fire hydrants in the area.

The structure received heavy damage and firefighters remained on scene for more than three hours.
No injuries were reported.
