1 Person Dead-1 Injured in Interstate 10 Collision

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ALEA has reported that a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:39 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, has claimed the life of a Theodore woman.
Minnie G. Cochran, 69, was critically injured when the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban she was a passenger in, left the roadway and struck a bridge support column.
She was transported to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile for medical treatment.
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, Minnie Cochran succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
The driver of the Suburban, Troy D. Conchran, 57, of Theodore, was also injured and transported to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Interstate 10 near the 5-mile marker, approximately nine miles west of Mobile city limits, in Mobile County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
