Man Found Dead on Mobile Roadway After Report of Pedestrian Struck by a Car

Mobile police are investigating the death of a man found on the side of the road after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle/
According to a release, police responded at 5:22 a.m. to the westbound side of Highway 90, also known as Government Boulevard, in between East Rite Road and the Highway 90 East Service Road in Theodore.
The response was in reference to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Responding officers spotted a body on the side of the road. Police said that the unidentified male had signs of trauma.
The name of the victim has not been released, Mobile police say, as their next of kin has not been notified.
Police are actively investigating.
