Machete Wielding Man Arrested After Stealing From Store

A machete wielding man is charged with first degree robbery of a Mobile convenience store after an armed disturbance and threats against the store employee.

Mobile police said that Arthur Dean Jr. stole items while threatening the store clerk with a machete.

Police were called to 2166 Wagner Street on Friday and were able to apprehend Dean.

Dean was transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail, where he is currently being held on no bond.
