Loxley Man Tased After Assaulting Police

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. Loxley police arrested 19-year-old Michael Blevins on July 1. 2025 charging him with public intoxication.
Officers then transported Blevins to the Robertsdale Police Department to be held in their jail.
But according to the Robertsdale Police, after being booked, Blevins became belligerent and began destroying jail equipment, including the breathalyzer machine.
A corrections officer at the jail and a Loxley Police Department officer got into a struggle with Blevins, which is when Blevins allegedly assaulted the Loxley officer, leading to Blevins being tased and arrested again.
Blevins is being held on multiple charges including assault on a police officer, property damages, and ten other charges.
