Loxley Firefighters Rescue Woman and Child From Flooded Vehicle

Tuesday night, February 18th, 2025 at around 10:40 p.m., a vehicle began to be overcome by water on North Hickory Street.
A woman and at least one child were inside the vehicle and the Baldwin County 911 center received calls for help. The vehicle was sinking according to the calls.
Loxley police and the Loxley fire departments were sent to the area of CEFCO at 8101 N Hickory Street and found that the vehicle was in a retention pond.
Everyone was rescued safely and checked out by EMS.
A towing service spent several hours recovering the vehicle according to authorities.
