Mobile County Man Dies in House Fire

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala.

One man lost his life in a house fire several days ago according to the Bayou La Batre Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a house fire just before noon on Monday off Padgett Switch Road.

Firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from the home upon arrival.

The deceased man, identified by family members was Travis Buckley and he was on Hospice care and wheelchair bound.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
