Juvenile Crashes Into Home During Police Pursuit

MOBILE Ala. On Thursday, June 19, 2025, at approximately 12:25 a.m., Mobile police officers were on patrol and attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the area of Dauphin Island Parkway and Victory Drive, but the driver refused to stop.
Police pursued the vehicle until it lost control and left the roadway and struck a home at the intersection of Cottage Hill Road and Bobwhite Trail.
Police took the driver, a juvenile, into custody and while conducting their investigation police discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen earlier this month in the 9000 block of Cottage Way.
The male juvenile subject was arrested and transported to Strickland Youth Center.
He has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Damage and Eluding Police.
This remains an active investigation.
