Juvenile Charged With Murder and Robbery

MOBILE COUNTY Ala. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a juvenile over the weekend and charged him with Murder and Robbery.
This arrest is related to an incident that occurred on May 11, 2025, at approximately 1:51 am. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a shooting at the dead end of Tom Hopkins Road.
The initial investigation indicates that a graduation party for Citronelle High School students was held at a residence on Tom Hopkins Road. The homeowner dispersed the party around midnight, after which a group moved to the cul-de-sac at the dead end of the road. An argument ensued, and two individuals were shot.
The victims have been identified as Zachary Morgan (DOB 10/25/06) and Jaylon Rivers (DOB 9/08/05). Zachary Morgan was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Jaylon Rivers was taken in a personal vehicle to a residence on Wiggins Fork Road in Mt. Vernon, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office arrested a juvenile on charges of Felony Murder and Robbery 1st in connection with this incident.
