PRICHARD, Ala.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office recently led a multi-police agency operation in Pritchard to take guns and drugs off the streets.
According to the sheriff’s office, “projecting law enforcement into the area was the theme of the operation, thereby disrupting criminal operations and enhancing public safety through visible saturation patrols.”
This operation was conducted on April 18th, 2025, and resulted in five arrests, two firearm seizures, one vehicle impounded and the recovery of over 3 pounds of marijuana.
“This operation received widespread attention on several social media platforms where it quickly trended,” Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said. “This shows that the presence of law enforcement was both recognized and impactful within the community and we will continue this operation in other areas throughout Mobile County.”
The Mobile Police Department; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection all participated in this operation.
