Head-On Collision in Fairhope Injures Several Persons

FAIRHOPE Ala. A head-on collision in Fairhope entrapped at least one person and injured several others.
A Baldwin County Sherriff’s deputy was the first agency on-scene and called for assistance.
The Baldwin County 911 Communications Center received calls of a serious wreck at Greeno Road and State Highway 104 at around 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday and they dispatched the Fairhope police, Fairhope Fire Department, and an ambulance to the location.
Arriving units found heavy front-end damage to two vehicles with at least two people was trapped.
Firefighters were able to free the victim and assist EMS in treating several people who were injured.
At this time it is not known what caused the wreck or the severity of injuries.
Fairhope police are continuing their investigation.
