Gulf Shores Police Report 2025 Activity Stats

GULF SHORES, Ala.
The City of Gulf Shores Police have reported their 2025 activity stats, and the report shows the growth of the area and the increase of police activity during the past year.
The police department responded to a total of 33,958 calls for service. Police also responded to 498 animal complaints.
That’s approximately four calls per hour, every hour of the day.
During 2025, police made 1,471 adult arrests and 68 juvenile arrests.
There were 348 felony arrests and 268 misdemeanor arrests.
Gulf Shores police made 534 drug arrests in 2025.
Police made 254 Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drug arrests.
235 persons were charged with underage possession of alcohol.
Officers also charged 408 people with traffic or other charges.
Gulf Shores police officers conducted 8,484 traffic stops and wrote 1,511 citations.
It was a busy year for this beach community police agency and police in Gulf Shores and other growing communities in Baldwin County continue to see an increase in call volume, and crime.
