Daphne Police Make Multiple DUI Arrests

DAPHNE, Ala. The Daphne police were once again on high alert looking for impaired drivers, speeders and other traffic infractions during the Christmas and New Year holidays as they kept the city residents and visitors safe.
On December 28, 2025, at around 9:50 p.m. an officer with the Daphne Police Department observed an infraction committed by a driver on Bayview drive near Ridgewood Drive.
Police stopped the vehicle driven by Howard Clinton McCollough. During the investigation the officer determined that McCollough was impaired and under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.
On December 28, 2025, at around 12:30 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop after the driver committed a traffic infraction on US 98 near Santa Rosa Avenue.
The driver later identified as on Bryce Garrett Korinchak was determined to be driving impaired and was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence – Alcohol.
Korinchak was processed into the Daphne Jail and later released with a court date.
A Daphne police officer on patrol spotted a violation and stopped a vehicle on Sunday, December 28, 2025, on US 98 at about 1:49 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Sarah Grace Baker.
Police said Baker was found to be Driving Under the Influence and was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.
Just minutes later, a police officer observed a violation on US 90 near the Home Depot and conducted a traffic stop on the driver who was identified as Elizabeth Sanderson Page.
Police also found this driver to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and she was arrested and booked into the Daphne Jail.
Police patrolling the area near I-10 stopped a vehicle driven by Richard David Golden for a moving violation on December 30, 2025, at around 11:30 p.m.
Police said that Golden was found to be impaired and was arrested for DUI.
Derrick Darnell Yelding was found to be driving impaired at around 1:30 p.m., on December 31, 2025 near the Daphne Public Library on US 98.
Yelding was arrested and booked into the Daphne city jail.
Also arrested for Driving Under the Influence on December 31, 2025, was Jessica Lynn Hermecz.
Police stopped Hermecz for committing a traffic infraction on Maxwell Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.
Police also arrested John David Carlton for Driving Under the Influence on December 31, 2025, at around 7:40 p.m. on US 98 near Merritt Boulevard.
On January 1st, 2026, Daphne police made the following arrests for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Phenicia Ky West was arrested on State Highway 181 just twenty-five minutes after midnight.
Megan Kay Black was arrested near I-10 at 12:35 a.m.
Nicholas Eugene Martin was arrested at around 2:30 a.m. near N Main Street.
Jacob Hays Waller was stopped for a moving violation on US 98 at around 4:30 a.m. and was also charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Benjamin Alonza Lewis was also arrested on January 1, 2026, at around 4:30 a.m. after he was stopped for a moving violation and found to be driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
On January 2nd, 2026, Daphne police stopped Nathan Andrew Buck on US 98 near the CVS store for a moving violation. During the officer’s interactions with Buck, the officer determined that he had been operating a motor vehicle under the influence and placed him under arrest and transported Buck to the Daphne Jail at around 1:25 a.m.
At approximately 4:50 a.m., on January 2nd, 2026, police stopped a driver, later identified as Rodney K Martin, on US 90 near the Home Depot after the officer observed a moving violation.
During their interaction with Martin, it was determined that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
