Gulf Shores Police Make Multiple Arrests During Start of Spring Break

The Gulf Shores police have been busy enforcing their strict anti-alcohol and drug policies and over the first weekend of spring break have arrested more than a dozen people.

According to police, most of the arrests were alcohol-related including DUI arrests.

Police reported no serious incidents in the city over the weekend.

Interim Police Chief Netemeyer said earlier that officers will strictly enforce the laws during spring break and extra officers are on duty during this time.
