Gulf Shores International Airport Lands Hertz and Dollar Rental Car Deal

The Gulf Shores International Airport has released exciting news as it continues marching toward its grand opening!

As Gulf Shores International Airport continues to build momentum in preparation for the highly anticipated launch of Allegiant service on May 21, 2025, the airport is pleased to announce a major milestone in its expansion efforts. Hertz, one of the world’s most recognized and trusted car rental brands, has been selected as the airport’s first rental car concessionaire. Hertz will provide services under both the Hertz and Dollar rental car brands.

“This partnership with Hertz represents a significant step forward in delivering a seamless travel experience for our guests,” said Jesse Fosnaugh, Airport Director at Gulf Shores International Airport. “Hertz is a globally recognized leader in the rental car industry, and we are excited to welcome them as a key component of our growing airport services.” Hertz anticipates making reservations available starting early April.

In addition to securing Hertz as its first on-site rental car provider, the airport has also finalized an agreement with ParkMobile, a leading provider of smart parking solutions.
ParkMobile, already in use throughout the City of Gulf Shores, will provide a simple and convenient way for travelers to pay for parking at the airport.

This integration ensures a smooth transition for visitors familiar with the system while enhancing efficiency for all airport guests.
