Foley Fire Department Responds to Grease Fire

The Foley Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Bay View Drive Wednesday afternoon.

When firefighters arrived they were told that the kitchen was on fire.

The occupants of the home had been cooking when grease was spilled on top of the stove and caught on fire and grease was also on the floor.

The small fire was quickly extinguished and firefighters assisted with clearing the house of smoke.

Damage to the structure was very minor and there were no reported injuries.
