Emergency Responders Dispatched to 18-Wheeler Wreck in Spanish Fort

SPANISH FORT, Ala. An early afternoon traffic collision snarled traffic Thursday in Spanish Fort when an 18-wheeler pack with scrap metal flipped over at a busy intersection.
The wreck occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m.at the intersection of US Highway 31 and State Highway 181.
Spanish Fort police and firefighters responded to the scene along with Medstar, but authorities said that no one was injured during the crash.
The truck landed off the main road which helped to alleviate major back-ups.
Police told us that the cause of the wreck is under investigation.
