Daphne, Several Other Fire Departments Battled Sunday’s House Fire

DAPHNE, Ala. A passerby called 911 and reported that a building was on fire on Sunday, September 24, 2025, near Wilson Avenue and U.S. Highway 98.

The Daphne and Fairhope Fire Departments were dispatched to the area, and it was soon determined that the structure fire was located in the area of 2304 McPhillips Drive.

Additional mutual-aid fire departments responded to assist at the fire, while others manned the Daphne fire stations and responded to other emergencies.

Police blocked off the area, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene to stand by.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
