City of Mobile Welcomes Back Carnival Cruise Ship

MOBILE, Ala.
The City of Mobile welcomed back a Carnival Cruise Ship this week and it has already boarded passengers heading out to sea on its first voyage.
Local bands provided the music and a crowd of people waiting provided the excitement.
In fact, David Clark, the president and CEO of Visit Mobile, said, “The ship is sold out.”
And that’s becoming a familiar story Clark said. He also mentioned that the demand is very high on all of their cruises, and they fill up pretty fast.
The Spirit is scheduled to return to Mobile on November 3rd, ready to make more memories but reportedly the season will be shorter this time around.
The Spirit Cruise line will only be here until February according to Carnival because it will be drydocked during March and April for yearly maintenance.
