Chickasaw Man Arrested After Attempting to Rob a Bank

Mobile police officers responded to a hold-up alarm at a local bank Monday morning and quickly found that it was not a false alarm.

Officers responded around 9:44 a.m. Monday to the PNC Bank at 2901 Springhill Ave and found that the robbery suspect, said 28-year-old Montreal Anderson was still at the bank.

Anderson had approached a teller with a note demanding money.

Police immediately apprehended the Chickasaw man and have charged him with First-Degree Robbery.

His next court appearance is slated for next Monday, jail records show.
