Bicyclist Struck by Car in Fairhope

Police responded to a 911 call reporting that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on Morphy Avenue at around 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Fairhope Fire Department and an ambulance were also dispatched to the area of Morphy Avenue and South Section Street.

Fairhope police found a person on a bicycle on the side of the road who had minor injuries and was treated by EMS.
The person was subsequently transported by ambulance to Thomas Hospital to be checked out.

Police are investigating the crash. No other details have been released.
