Bicyclist Critically injured After Being Struck by Vehicle on CR 32

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A single-vehicle crash involving a bicyclist that occurred at approximately 5:03 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, has injured an Elberta woman.
Emergency services including local fire and EMS responded to the area of County Road 32 near Baldwin County 55 and found an elderly woman injured and lying on the ground.
The bicyclist was identified as Martie G. Lane, 60, was struck by a 2013 GMC Sierra driven by James P. McKay, Jr., 79, of Fairhope.
Lane was transported to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile by a medical helicopter for treatment.
