Baldwin County Sheriff’s Seek Stabbing Suspect

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. On October 22, 2025, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 transfer call regarding a stabbing at a residence located on the 25000 block Pollard Road in Daphne, AL.
Uniform Services deputies arrived in the area and located a female that was bleeding from her torso.
The Belforest and Daphne Fire Departments, along with an ambulance also responded to the scene.
It was determined that the victim was suffering from two stab wounds.
The victim was transported for medical treatment and underwent surgery to treat her injuries.
The victim provided information that allowed for the suspect to be identified as 26-year-old Taylor Duplesis of Daphne. Through the investigation, it was learned that Duplesis fled the scene after stabbing the victim.
Duplesis is actively evading law enforcement at this time.
Duplesis has an active warrant for Assault 1st degree.
The suspect and victim were known associates, and it is believed this was an isolated incident and not random.
