ALEA Investigating Mobile County Fatal Crash

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ALEA is reporting that a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:28 a.m. Tuesday, June 16,2026, has claimed the life of a Vinegar Bend man.
Troopers were called to the area Snow Road near Dominion Drive, approximately one mile west of the Mobile City limits, in Mobile County.
Fire and EMS responded to the collision and found the driver unresponsive.
Kenneth K. Jackson, 72, was fatally injured when the 2016 GMC Sierra that he was driving left the road, struck a tree and a ditch. Jackson was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
